1. Who we are

Hobix (hobix.co.uk) is an online marketplace where independent teachers, coaches and clubs ("Teachers") list children's activities and parents or guardians ("Parents") book and pay for them. Hobix is not the provider of any activity.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or over to hold an account. You're responsible for keeping your login details safe and for the accuracy of the details you give us about your children.

3. Bookings and payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you book, you pay the Teacher for the activity through Stripe; Hobix receives a commission from the Teacher. Prices include VAT where applicable.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Each listing shows its cancellation policy (flexible, moderate or strict) before you pay, and refunds follow that policy automatically. If a Teacher cancels a session, Parents receive a full refund. Refunds return to the original card within 5–10 working days.

5. Teachers

Teachers are independent businesses responsible for the activity, their venue, insurance, safeguarding and any licences. The Verified badge means Hobix has seen a DBS certificate and insurance document; it is not a guarantee.

6. Reviews

Only Parents whose booking attended may review. Reviews must be honest and lawful. Hobix may remove reviews that break these terms.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that can't be limited by law. Otherwise Hobix's liability to you is limited to the commission we received on the booking concerned.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; we'll email account holders about material changes. Questions: hello@hobix.co.uk. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
